Radical Waste is delighted to announce that we have been named as a finalist in the East Anglia Clean and Green Awards 2026, in the Supply Chain Business of the Year category.
Now in its second year, the Clean and Green Awards celebrate businesses, individuals, and communities across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, and Suffolk that are making meaningful progress in sustainability and environmental responsibility. The awards are backed by an impressive roster of sponsors including Orsted, National Grid, and RWE, reflecting the serious weight the event carries within the region’s business and environmental community.
Being shortlisted for Supply Chain Business of the Year is a recognition we’re genuinely proud of. The category highlights businesses that are embedding sustainability into the heart of how they procure, operate, and deliver, and it sits at the core of what Radical Waste is about. For us, sustainability in the supply chain isn’t a box to tick or a marketing message. It’s a fundamental part of how we do business every day.
The finalist announcement was made on 25 February 2026, following a rigorous two-round judging process. Entries were first assessed on submission, before shortlisted businesses took part in organised judging meetings against a defined set of category criteria. The fact that Radical Waste has come through both rounds is a real testament to the team and the work we’ve put in to build a business that takes its environmental responsibilities seriously.
The awards ceremony takes place on Thursday 26 March 2026, at Kesgrave Hall in Ipswich, Suffolk. We’ll be there on the night with everything crossed.
Whether or not we take home the award, being named a finalist in a category like this, at a regional level that genuinely represents the sector we operate in, means a great deal to us. It adds to a period of real momentum for Radical Waste, alongside our recently awarded Constructionline Gold accreditation, and reflects a business that is growing with purpose.
